WHAT WE DO

Bakeboston is a 501(c)(3) organization that uses bread and other baked goods to help address food insecurity while honoring our city’s cultural diversity. We conduct fundraising, negotiate pricing, coordinate with nonprofits, churches and other religious organizations on distribution, and recruit volunteers to bake, pack and deliver fresh-baked bread, holiday loaves and pies, and special celebration cookies to families in need. Please follow Bakeboston1 on Instagram.

Big or small, 100% of every donation goes toward procuring and delivering fresh-baked goods to food insecure families in Boston communities.

BakeBoston Breadraisers are fundraisers by families or students that happen through email or social media. Breadraisers typically raise $500 or more that goes toward purchasing fresh bread and sharing it with needy communities in Boston.

BakeBoston works with local bakeries to bake fresh bread that gets distributed through local nonprofits to families struggling with food insecurity. Bakes can be sponsored for $500 and up.
